I Have a Dream!

Do you have inspirational dreams? I have one. I know that candles don’t change the world, at least not by being candles. Compassion Candle change the world, because Compassion Candle profits are used to support children in extreme poverty. My dream is that Compassion Candles will be ordered all over Australia, by people and churches. I especially dream of our presentation candles and Advent candles being ordered from all over Australia because they are that good, and I want churches all over Australia getting excited that their humble candles are making the world a better place. I dream of churches all over Australia using our candles for baptisms and Advent, and telling the story of fighting poverty as they do. I dream of wedding celebrants and churches using our wedding candles for the couples they marry, telling the story of fighting poverty as they do. Compassion Candles and Remember Seven

Remember Seven among our people On 11-12 August 1012, the mission Band Remember Seven visited us from Brisbane.  We enjoyed (and were challenged in) a concert on Saturday evening and in all of our worship services on the Sunday. During the concert we announced that Compassion Candles is joining Remember Seven in supporting the Mwandi Orphans and Vulnerable Childrens Mission (OVC).  In making the announcement we also gave our first contribution of $2,000. HOW EXCITING! We hope, of course, to make many more contributions to the Mwandi OVC. Great news!  Trish Large, owner/manager of Bloomin Whitsundays (Main St, Proserpine) has decided to join us.  Trish will be doing the presentation and packing work on our presentation candles, ensuring a totally professional finish.
